Christian Dior exhibition

Atmospheric Zone was approached by a valued client to supply bespoke architectural grade Led Pro Strip and aluminium profiles for the prestigious Christian Dior exhibition at the V & A Museum in London.

This project clearly specified that only lighting of the highest quality and level of performance be used to illuminate one of the most iconic fashion designers’ clothing and garments to Museum visitors.

Installation:

Thanks to our strong relationship and connections with our client, Atmospheric Zone was able to select and supply a Dynamic White Led Pro Strip with the high spec attributes of CRI 96> and a SDCM <3. Accompanied with our finest grade Aluminium profile and essential power supplies and control equipment, Atmospheric Zone successfully prepared and supplied a project package within a limited time frame. The installation included over 36000 LEDs supplied by Atmospheric.

Spanning 1947 to the present day, the exhibition traced the history and impact of one of the 20th century’s most influential couturiers, exploring the enduring influence of the fashion house, and Dior’s relationship with Britain. The exhibition comprised of more than 500 objects that ranged from accessories and garments to Dior’s personal possessions and broke the V&A’s attendance record, attracting almost 595,000 people in seven months. V&A director Tristram Hunt stated that the South Kensington institution had been “overwhelmed by the phenomenal visitor response”.
