Atmospheric Zone working with both NDY Light and Sunbeam Woodworks was instructed to manufacture over 700 individual lengths of its well accredited “Linear LED Pro Strip®” and build into bespoke aluminium profile and diffuser specified by NDY Light. Colour rendering and light levels were of paramount importance due to the high value products being illuminated and requiring to be displayed at their optimum presentation. Full dimming of each individual “Boxed” display was achieved using Atmospherics range of local Pdim range.

About The Project:

A collection of fine wines and cigars displayed in bespoke crafted wooden cases, shelving and bar locations to include exclusive brands to Selfridges. Each unit was hand finished and power leads were pre-soldered. Each unit was pre tested for four hours prior to packaging and shipment resulting in zero failure on site installation.

Leading the way at the forefront of the wine and spirits market with extraordinary exclusives and the world’s greatest brands, the Selfridges London Wine Shop has moved to a brand new, larger location on LG. Hand-picked range of 900 wines, 300 champagnes and 200 beers, with 330 fine wines. The space features three enomatic machines, allowing you to taste a selection of the finest wines and spirits.

JJ Fox Cigars, the oldest cigar merchants in the world, have also moved to LG – taking up a larger residence in the new Wine Shop with their unrivalled range of the finest specialist cigars.

Named after our charismatic founder, Harry Gordon’s is now open in the heart of the store on LG. Selfridges’ first ever cocktail bar is the perfect place for drinks with friends, a business meeting or a shopping break.

The cocktail menu is devised by bar guru Ryan Chetiyawardana and features signature drinks inspired by Selfridges’ rich heritage, including the 1909 Smash – Sipsmith gin, peach, mint. The hand-picked wine list ranges from a classic Sancerre to a funky Greek Assyirtiko and the beer offering focuses on London ales and 8 craft bottles, including Selfridges’ own-brewed 1909 IPA.

The food menu is simple yet delicious with a selection of charcuterie and cheese from our Foodhall, seasonal salads, soups and sandwiches.
